My Beloved Hometown- Tanauan City

ALA EH! Sa tuwing makakarinig ka ng mga salitang may “Eh” Kaming mga taga Batangas  agad ang unang papasok sa iyong Isip. I am a natural born Batangueña and if mapapaluwas sa Manila madali lang ma-recognized, dahil daw sa aking Ala Eh Accent. Sa amin naman dito sa Tanauan hindi namin napapansin yun, we just know we talk and sound according to our mood. Haha!

I was born in "The Premier City of CALABARZON" , City of Tanauan is a first class city in the province of Batangas. We believed that Tanauan derived from the word tanaw, which means to look after through the window. Its original location is from the fringe of Taal, early Tanaueños build a tower to see a clear view (tanaw) of the lake, the vast plains and rolling hills. However the original town of Tanauan was totally destroyed because of the eruption of Taal Volcano in 1754.

Tanauan is also known for its Agricultural Trading Center of CALABARZON Region. Agricultural products form CALABARZON , MIMAROPA and Bicol regions are being sent here before it reaches Metro Manila public markets. The best part of it is you can buy as many as you can at the cheapest price you cannot imagine. In terms of Education hindi nagpapahuli ang Tanauan City, Tanauan give a free education to every Tanaueño; The Tanauan City High School and The Tanauan City of College.There are 9 private and 12 public high schools, and 27 private and 44 public elementary schools.
